Mr. Ram Charmakar

Chairperson/Lead-Project Management, and Development Sector Consulting.

         Mr. Charmakar is a development professional with over 15 years of experience in the Government, I/NGOs, and UN Agencies. He provided the leadership for South Asia Regional Brick Consortium as a Regional Coordinator. He worked as a National Project Coordinator at United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Nepal; as a Senior Program Manager at NNDSWO (A network-based National Level NGO), as a Programme Manager at SAMATA Foundation (A Think Tank organization); as an Associate Officer at UNDP Nepal; as a Management Associate at United Nation Mission in Nepal (UNMIN); and as an Associate Officer at National Human Rights Commission of Nepal. He also served as Expert Consultants at UN Agencies including ILO and UNDP Nepal.
His expertise includes -Strategic Planning, Project Management, Partnership Management, Capacity Building, and Training Delivery, Stakeholder Mapping and Engaging, Advocacy Strategy Development, Business Development, and Resource Mobilization, Procurement Management, Organizational Development, Feasibility Study, Market Analysis, Baseline Study, Research/Policy Analysis, and Report Writing. Mr. Charmakar holds a Master’s in Sociology with a specialization in Gender Studies and Project Management, and a Master's in Public Policy and Management with a specialization in Social Policy and Justice. He is also a PRINCE2® Certified Project Management Professional and a CIPS-Level 2 Certified Public Procurement Practitioner from the UK.

Mr. Avinash Jha

Director/Lead-International Relations & Education Sector Consulting
      Mr. Avinash Jha leads education development at United World Schools in Nepal. He is responsible for setting the strategic direction for education development across UWS Nepal schools. Avinash also leads the design of new programs and projects. Avinash has over eight years of experience working on various community development projects in Nepal. Early in his career, he supervised the implementation of over 100 projects on renewable energy systems in rural communities across Nepal.
He has been recognized as a winner of Ncell App Camp, and Rec@nnect Challenge for his tech-based initiatives. In 2015, he was recognized as an International Visitor Leadership Program Exchange Fellow by the U.S. Department of State.
His research interests include infrastructure and economic development, education policy, and artificial intelligence. A policy analyst by training, Avinash sees the lack of quality education as the biggest threat to Nepal’s long-term sustained prosperity.


Mr. Ujwal Adhkari
Director/Lead-Domestic Partnerships & Development Sector Consulting
         Mr. Ujwal Adhikari is a development practitioner having more than a decade of experience,  especially in strengthening democracy, promoting and campaigning for good governance, free and fair election, accountability, and beyond. Currently working in the capacity of director at the Election Observation Committee Nepal (EOC-Nepal) which works to strengthen and institutionalize democracy through election observation, civic and voter education, research and advocacy on electoral issues, governance, and other related policy frameworks.
He has visited more than 55 districts of Nepal in connection with his work-related engagement and has coordinated with like-minded organizations including the line agencies of the government, observers, researchers, field staff, and government officials of different capacities throughout the country. This extensive exposure has enlarged and widened his understanding and knowledge of the legal, regulatory, political, and sociocultural values and attributes of the country.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Management from Kathmandu University and also has completed MBA from International American University.  Along with his academic qualifications, he has attained several training, and short courses, and presented papers at home and abroad.


Mr. Subarna Paudel,

Co-founder/Director - Management and Financial Sector Consulting
     Mr. Subarna Paudel is a highly experienced finance professional with a diverse skill set accumulated over a decade in the industry. His expertise spans strategic planning, investment deal screening, new venture creation, growth consulting, financial management, auditing, tax consulting, and project management, among other areas. He plays integral roles as a Board of Director at NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, one of the largest Microfinance Institutions in the country, and also at Emerging Venture Limited, a Private Equity Fund. Currently, Paudel serves as the Co-founder and Managing Director of Federal Reinsurance Brokers Limited, while previously making significant contributions as the Acting CEO at Emerging Nepal Limited.
His impact goes beyond corporate positions, as he played a crucial role in conceptualizing and establishing various leading corporations, including Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited, the country's sole infrastructure development bank, and BFIN, a leading capacity development center for the financial sector. He has collaborated with prestigious companies such as Chaudhary Group and top advisory firms in Nepal and India throughout his career. In addition to possessing numerous academic and professional accolades, he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Lincoln University College, with a specific research focus on SME financing. Paudel's extraordinary journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication to finance, investment and public policy.


 Mr. Ananda Nepali
Director/Lead-Training, Social Mobilization and Public Relation
         Mr. Ananda Nepali is a highly accomplished development professional and activist with over 9 years of experience in national and international environments. He has actively championed causes related to the environment, human rights (specifically focusing on Dalits, Women, and Children), labor rights of modern-day slavery survivors, SDGs, social justice, peace, good governance, GESI, caste-based discrimination, and untouchability. Currently serving as a program coordinator at Purple Group/Purple Foundation, he works on combating human trafficking, forced labor, bonded labor, debt bondage, forced marriage, child marriage, unsafe migration, commercial sexual exploitation of children, and gender-based violence. Ananda has also held significant positions in various organizations and projects, including at UNDP, Jagaran Media Center, and Global Youth Change Leaders. His tireless efforts to raise voices for the marginalized and deprived, particularly within his Dalit community, have earned him recognition as one of the most influential youth in Nepal. Ananda is a passionate mentor and seeks to empower marginalized communities and youth through his leadership, coordination, and dedication to humanitarian work and skill development. His areas of expertise include public policy, human resource management, youth engagement, child rights, environmental issues, research, and promoting peace and good governance.
